James F. Martin


Jim sees the role of a good business lawyer as that of a coach. As a student athlete in Springfield, Mass., college athlete at Georgetown University and later a youth sports coach in Longmeadow, he learned that a good coach is an advisor, a motivator and a problem solver. 

As a lawyer, he works to understand clients' circumstances and their concerns so that he can provide sound counsel based on what fits their needs and is in the best interests of their businesses. He analyzes transactions and litigation from a business perspective, looking for creative and efficient solutions.

Jim is a recognized as a leading automotive franchise attorney throughout  New England and has successfully  handled the purchase and sale of numerous car dealerships, franchise negotiations and related litigation.
