Designated as a Massachusetts "Rising Star" for 2005, 2006, and 2007, the selection was earned by attorney consensus and required that each candidate be under the age of 40 or in practice for 10 years or less. Only 2.5% of the lawyers in Massachusetts receive "Rising Star" status. Votes were cast for lawyers specializing in more than 50 practice areas.
