Robinson Donovan is partnering with the non-profit organization Soldier On in an October 29 event that will honor Admiral Mike Mullen, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. Admiral Mullen will receive the Soldier On Award in recognition of the work he has done on behalf of homeless veterans of the United States Armed Services. In conjunction with Robinson Donovan's continued support of Soldier On, the firm is a four star sponsor of the dinner event at the Log Cabin in Holyoke honoring Admiral Mullen.
Soldier On is a Northampton-based private non-profit devoted to ending veteran homelessness. Robinson Donovan has been involved with the organization for the past two years, providing financial support for the organization’s marketing efforts and pro bono legal services. Our staff has also worked directly with formerly homeless veterans housed at Soldier On’s shelter in Leeds; this spring, we helped women veterans plant gardens on the grounds of the VA Medical Center, where Soldier On leases property.
Admiral Mullen will be on hand October 29 for a groundbreaking ceremony at the site of Soldier On’s first Veterans Village limited equity housing project. After that, he’ll travel to Holyoke for the awards dinner, which is set to start at 5 p.m.
We hope our clients will join us in supporting Soldier On. Contact Karen Gravelin for information on how you can join us at the dinner honoring Admiral Mullen.
