Attorney McCormick Elected to Membership in the American Board of Trial Advocates
August 27, 2008 | Robinson Donovan, P.C.

Jeff McCormick has recently been elected a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA). ABOTA, which was founded in 1958, is one of the nation’s premier organizations of trial lawyers, dedicated to the preservation of the Seventh Amendment right to a civil trial by jury, and to fostering professionalism and civility among trial lawyers. Gaining membership to ABOTA is not easy. Only those who have tried a significant number of civil jury cases to a verdict are eligible, and even then all applications are carefully scrutinized at both the local and national level to make sure that each applicant possesses both the skill and professionalism to be awarded membership.
Jeff is also a Fellow in the prestigious American College of Trial Lawyers and he is a Past President of the 18,000 member Massachusetts Bar Association. He has tried over 100 trials to conclusion, and has settled, mediated, and arbitrated hundreds more.
