Attorney Patricia M. Rapinchuk successfully defended the City of Pittsfield and its former mayor against an employment discrimination complaint in the Berkshire Superior Court.

A jury found that the City had not discriminated against the plaintiff, a former employee of Berkshire Training and Employment Program, based upon her disability.
During the trial, Attorney Rapinchuk, a partner with Robinson Donovan, convinced the judge to dismiss additional claims of discrimination against the City’s former mayor by arguing that the plaintiff had failed to present sufficient evidence of her claims. As such, the jury only deliberated, and found for the City, on two claims of discrimination against the City.
