David S. Lawless
BUSINESS LITIGATION, CIVIL LITIGATION, EMPLOYMENT LAW AND LITIGATION, PRODUCTS LIABILITY LAW

Though he joined Robinson Donovan shortly after receiving his law degree, David Lawless nonetheless brings an impressive professional background to his work with our firm. Before enrolling at the University of Connecticut School of Law, David spent two years in the office of Manhattan District Attorney Robert M. Morgenthau where he served as an investigative analyst in the Money Laundering and Tax Crimes Unit.

Born in Manhattan and raised in Greenwich, Connecticut, David currently resides in South Hadley.

David earned his undergraduate degree, a B.A. in Anthropology, from the University of Connecticut. He received his J.D. from UConn Law in the spring of 2005 and joined Robinson Donovan in October of the same year. While attending law school, David worked in the office of the Georgia Capital Defender and was an executive editor of the Connecticut Public Interest Law Journal.

David brings his considerable skills as a researcher and writer and the invaluable experience he gained in District Attorney Morgenthau's office and in Georgia to his work with Robinson Donovan's litigation team.

David was selected by the publishers of Boston Magazine and Law & Politics as a 2008 and 2009 Massachusetts "Rising Star" top attorney under the age of 40.
